Adeel Afshar is an engineer turned entrepreneur and community leader with a passion for small business development. Adeel founded his first company, Halal Beauty, with a mission to celebrate Muslim-American beauty during a time when it's so critically needed. Adeel comes from a lineage of entrepreneurship and family businesses, and in-fact co-founded his business with his mom. Together they expanded sales across the world with sales in places like Pakistan, Dubai, France, Germany, and beyond.

Along his entrepreneurial journey, Adeel saw the need for community support, and thus he joined the board of ACE NextGen. As a board member, he oversaw the development of their first accelerator program, attracting 500+ applicants and helping entrepreneurs raise of $30M in capital in it's first year. 

Now, as Executive director of ACE NextGen, Adeel oversees the development of the organizations nearly one-dozen chapters, serving over 12,000 AAPI entrepreneurs all across the country.

In his free time, Adeel enjoys coaching wrestling at Harvard-Westlake, growing hundreds of fruits and vegetables as a master gardener, and spending time with his beautiful wife, Safa. Adeel is 29 years old and lives in Los Angeles, CA.
