[July 10, 2025, Central Texas] – The National Asian/Pacific Islander American Chamber of Commerce and Entrepreneurship (National ACE) extends its heartfelt support to the individuals, families, and small business owners impacted by the catastrophic flooding across Texas Hill Country. As Central Texas grapples with the loss of 118 lives and searches for more than 170 missing individuals, the scale of this disaster is staggering, and businesses that once anchored communities now face uncertain futures.
Central Texas is home to a growing and dynamic Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community. Over the years, AAPI entrepreneurs have made major contributions to the local economy, launching businesses that provide jobs, essential services, and a strong sense of identity. Today, many of these business owners face immense challenges as they begin the long road to recovery and rebuilding.
National ACE stands ready to assist in these efforts. We are committed to helping communities and businesses navigate recovery resources, connect with funding opportunities, and regain stability in the wake of this disaster. Small businesses are more than economic drivers—they are pillars of their communities. We remain steadfast in ensuring they receive the support they need to rebuild and move forward.
