Lunar New Year is a special time for the Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) community to connect, reflect, and celebrate. The reception drew AANHPI leaders, community stakeholders, and allies from across the country. Notable attendees included Deputy Administrator Dilawar Syed, U.S. Small Business Administration; Erika Moritsugu, Deputy Assistant to the President & AA and NHPI Senior Liaison; Krystal Kaߵai, Executive Director of the White House Initiative on AANHPI; Members of the Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus (CAPAC), several other Administration officials, and members of the National ACE Board of Directors. The evening included entertainment featuring Hung Ci Lion Dance Troupe and musician Travis Atreo.

“On behalf of the National ACE membership and Board of Directors, we are thrilled to welcome the Year of the Dragon and reaffirm our commitment to bringing prosperity and opportunities for growth. To that end, we are working to elevate and ensure that the AANHPI community’s economic contributions—which is projected to reach $1.6 trillion this year—are recognized. As the fastest growing ethnic group in the country, we are thrilled to celebrate the AANHPI community during this special time,” said National ACE President and CEO, Chiling Tong.

Specifically, this year, National ACE looks forward to supporting over 2.9 million AANHPI small businesses through our Capital Readiness Program. Through public-private partnerships, we can ensure that our entrepreneurs have access to capital and resources for capacity building to reach their full potential.
