To honor restaurateurs who defied the odds during the COVID-19 pandemic our partner, Grubhub, launched a new award program for small-business Chicago restaurants celebrating five years of success in 2025 – Established 2020. 

Small business restaurant owners in Chicago who opened their first brick-and-mortar location in 2020 and are still open today are eligible to receive a monetary award to invest back into their small business.

National ACE convened a Small Business Roundtable in Palo Alto to discuss pressing challenges faced by small business owners in Silicon Valley. 

The roundtable provided a platform for entrepreneurs to share their experiences and challenges. Conversations centered around the lasting impact of COVID-19, the rise of remote work as a new norm, and the hurdles startups continue to face—including securing funding, navigating complex tariff regulations, and integrating artificial intelligence into small business operations.

Today, the National Asian/Pacific Islander American Chamber of Commerce and Entrepreneurship (National ACE) applauds Senators Deb Fischer (R-NE) and Angus King (I-ME) for their bipartisan efforts to introduce the Paid Family and Medical Leave Tax Credit Extension and Enhancement Act.
